Jamis Bicycles

Jamis Portal A1+
$3,999.00
Jamis hit the sweet spot with the Portal. With 130mm of front and rear travel, it offers enough suspension to take on any trail you have the guts to try, but is still svelte and nimble enough to pedal anywhere on the map. The 3VO suspension designed by Chris Currie of Speedgoat nails the bullseye of suspension kinematics: active and stable under pedaling and hard braking but sensitive to small bumps and ready for big, square-edged hits. Fox expertly controls that rear travel, as well as handling suspension duties up front with a Float DPS shock and Rhythm 34 fork, respectively. Portal A1+ grips terrain aggressively with meaty 27.5x2.8-inch Vittoria tires and comes with Shimano’s exemplary XT 1x11 drivetrain, so you’ll have a broad range of gears at your fingertips, perfect for aiming at a mountain and pressing “Play.” Bringing the Portal safely back to low orbit takes nothing but a gentle squeeze of the Magura Trail Sport hydraulic brake levers, delivering the power and confidence to master the trail. And, a KS dropper post ensures your body is in the right position for the task at hand, whether you’re grinding up the thirty-third switchback in a row or shredding down a buffed park jump line.

Jamis Ventura Sport
$678.99 $849.00 20% Off
Our Ventura bikes borrow heavily from the race-proven geometry of our Xeniths and Icons to help keep you in front on the local Saturday ride. But we’ve softened the edges of that geo just a bit for a more comfortable and confident ride so you can head out again on Sunday, still fresh and ready to hammer your buddies one more time. The Ventura frame is designed with a taller headtube for a greater range of handlebar and rider positions. Its Enhanced Compliance Offset (ECO) fork features blades that are swept forward, which increases vertical compliance for a more comfortable and controlled ride, without compromising lateral stiffness. The fork is formed in one continuous unit for optimal strength and performance while keeping weight as low as possible, and the tapered steerer increases stiffness. The frame's internal cable routing results in a clean look, while the downtube entry point cleverly prevents cable rub. Finally, the frame utilizes Size Specific Design (SSD), to create the best possible riding bike for each size rider. Featuring a reliable Shimano Claris drivetrain, Alex ID-19 rims on Formula hubs, and trusty Vittoria Zaffiro 700 x 28c tires for a smooth ride, the Ventura Sport Femme packs performance, quality, and durability into an affordable bike.
Jamis Durango A2
$489.00
These may be the most affordable 29’ers in Jamis’ stable, but there’s nothing entry-level about the performance of these bikes. They took all-new frame styling and married it to the proven Dakota geometry, then added a suspension fork, 29-inch wheels, a 21-speed drivetrain, and disc brakes for real trail prowess. Best-in-class performance and big hoops don’t have to mean big bucks, and the Durango proves it.
Jamis Hudson Sport Step-Thru
$398.99 $499.00 20% Off
Think of Jamis’ Hudson Sport as part Explorer and part Earth Cruiser. Capable, but cool. Casual, but on it. They blended the flowing curves and shaped tubes of seemingly disparate platforms like the carbon Dakota 29’ers and aluminum DXT’s and came up with a smart frame design that rides comfortably, casually, and efficiently while making a bold statement all at the same time. The Hudson Sport is built on a step-thru aluminum frame, so it’s lightweight but durable, and easy to get on and off. It features a simple, 7-speed drivetrain to get you up and down hills and linear-pull brakes to give you confident, controlled braking. Wide, cushy tires perform well on a variety of surfaces and make the ride comfortable, even on choppy roads and paths. You’ll feel like you’re floating on air when you ride the Hudson Sport.

Jamis Laser 2.0
$239.00
The lightweight and durable aluminum Jamis Laser frame is easier to pedal than steel, giving young riders the confidence to keep up with mom or dad. The 20-inch Laser actually offers two types of brakes: a standard rear coaster brake, which most youngsters are familiar with, and a rear V-brake which many are not. Having the rear coaster brake as a back-up allows youngsters to get used to hand-braking without going cold-turkey on the coaster brake they are comfortable with. The alloy rims are anodized black to provide even greater corrosion and rust resistance than the alloy already possesses, and the rim sidewalls are ground to provide a smooth braking surface for the rear V-brake. Jamis builds the Laser 2.0 wheels with 36 spokes in a 3-cross lacing pattern for strength and durability, and mounts knobby BMX tires that bite in the dirt but with a rounded profile that rolls smoothly on neighborhood streets and driveways. Every Laser 2.0 offers a kickstand for parking that pride and joy and a bell to announce that the Laser has arrived.
Jamis Starlite 20
$239.00
With a lightweight and durable aluminum frame, the Jamis Starlite is an easy-pedaling kids bike that inspires fun and confidence on every ride. The swooping frame design has a purpose other than great looks: with 20-inch wheels this bike offers a low standover and low center of gravity for stable, secure riding and control. The silver anodized wheels are durable, lightweight, and easy to pedal, and built with 36 spokes in a 3-cross lacing pattern for extra strength to keep up with the rough-and-tumble nature of childhood. Starlite's swept back handlebars are specifically designed to be easy to reach and promote a comfortable, secure, and upright ride position, and the extra-plush, broad-based saddle features a suede-like brushed vinyl top that's grippy and keeps young riders from sliding around unsafely on the saddle top. Finally, a rear coaster brake plus an additional rear hand brake work together to as your child progresses, and a full-coverage chainguard keeps shoe laces and clothing out of harm's way.
Jamis Laser 16
$209.00
Laser's mini MX-Moto design offers plenty of standover clearance for young riders and a head-turning, two-tone paint finish that will be the talk of the neighborhood. The over-sized blades and leading axle dropout of the Laser fork assures it will be up to the task of getting there and back safely. If a steel or alloy part is not painted or anodized, Jamis protects it with a black electroplating which enhances the corrosion resistance of that part. The satin sheen of the finish looks good too. The Laser's full-length and full ring-wrap chainguard keep clothes and legs cleanly and safely out of the way of the chain. Every 16-inch Laser offers stabilizing training wheels that assist the young rider in learning how to pedal, steer, and balance a bike for the first time. The training wheel support struts attach securely both to the rear hub axle and the frame itself so that the training wheels don’t rotate out of plane with the rear wheel, preventing tips or spills.
Jamis Miss Daisy 16
$209.00
The full-length and full ring-wrap chainguard on Miss Daisy keep clothes and legs cleanly and safely out of the way of the chain. Those attractively painted fenders keep the rain and mud off the bike and the rider, and look cute to boot. The soft and comfortable foam grips feature a smooth vinyl cover that is embossed and stitched to match the saddle and decal theme. Those wide Brooklyn Speedway tires offer a large contact patch for greater stability, with a smooth tread surface for easy rolling, and hold plenty of air volume for a more comfortable ride. The pedals offer a non-slip insert that keeps feet and shoes in full contact even when wet for safe and secure pedaling, too.
